The “Farting Scrolls” of Japan

Everyone likes a good fart joke, and the Japanese are no exception. These scrolls were found that date back to about 1603 – 1868 where the he-gassen was established, which translates to ‘The Fart Battle’. The scrolls show people farting in each others general direction and even some loud trumpeting ones  that can break through walls!
